【Special Feature】Swing’s Story (Posted: November 15, 2011)

Hello I’m Swing! Come “Swing” with me!

”I’m getting used to car rides!” says Swing, an eight year old toy poodle. Swing came to ARK after he was rescued from a breeder affected by the Tohoku-Pacific earthquake.

It’s hard to believe that from his birth until his now eight years, Swing has never lived in the warmth of a real home. Instead, he lived stuffed in kennels with over 100 other dogs, covered in filth and barely having enough space to move around, let alone stand upright. With his foster family, he has experienced what it’s like to live in a home with a loving family.

Swing is always playing with toys, and is a rambunctious fellow at his age. On walks, he is usually mistaken as a puppy! When people come up to greet him, he sticks right up to them as if giving them a nuke hug. Swing has such an adorable appearance that everyone is easily charmed by him.

Did we mention that he has so much energy? He’s so vibrant and can play all day! We are grateful that he is in great health too!

”Eat well, play well, and sleep well,” is his new motto in life. Swing has a lot of new favorite pastimes thanks to a second chance at a happy life.

If you would like to meet Swing, please contact Tokyo ARK!

“I’m looking forward to meeting you!”
