Nice to meet you, I’m Natsume! I am often complimented on my good looks and photogenic smile. I am also very smart and like to be active, whether its playing in the snow or enjoying a nice summer walk. However, life was not always easy for me. I was found on the streets with a back leg injury and I was unable to walk. Luckily, ARK came to the rescue, and I spent the next few weeks rehabilitating and getting used to people. In the beginning, staff had to keep me away from other dogs because I was defensive and didn’t want anyone near me and I was also very sceptical of people and would try to scare them away! This wasn’t because of aggression though….I was just scared and thought people were “bad”. Now I know, that is not the case. With people I know, I am friendly and happy to see them! With strangers, it takes me a couple visits to know that they mean well…It just takes me a little extra time! For this reason, it might be a little difficult to rehome me, but I have not given up hope! In the meantime, why not sponsor a handsome boy like me?
