Pleased to meet you, I’m Mia. I have a bit of a mysterious background. Although my past is not known, I was rescued by someone and kept as a house cat. However, that person was suddenly unable to look after me and I was brought to ARK. I am rather shy around people and will quickly cower if I see someone I do not know approaching. However, with people I DO know, I can be affectionate and playful. It just takes me a bit of time to get used to new people and surroundings. Although staff do not know my past history, they do know it wasn’t an easy one and therefore I’d like a forever family who will be very patient and understanding of me. I’m just a very sensitive soul, but with a bit of gentle encouragement, you’ll certainly see my softer, more affectionate side.
