Hello, I’m Dwef 2. In case you’re wondering what DWEF stands for, its “Dog Which Escaped Fire”. Sadly, I grew up in a notorious animal  hoarder’s house, where most of the dogs I was living with perished in a house fire. My owner died as well. It was devastating and I lost many friends. Needless to say, I was traumatized and very scared of everything! It took a long time for me to even get used to ARK but now I am so glad to be safe. I was not at all socialized when I was living with my owner so everything was a first for me. Affection, pats, trees, yummy good, toys and human company. I actually like people but it takes me awhile to get used to them. When new people come into my kennel, I will hide in a corner but after several visits I am happy to see them. I enjoy my walks and have made some friends here who I go walking with, which I enjoy very much. I would love nothing more than to find a forever home with people who will be very patient and understanding of my needs. I am a very sweet girl but with such a history, I will have my ups and downs. To find someone who will be there to guide me, show me I’m safe and love me would be a dream come true!
