Compared to the other three cats who arrived at ARK with him, Castella is especially friendly and people-oriented. He may keep his distance at first, but give him a little time and he’ll gradually start coming closer and showing his affectionate side. Castella absolutely loves his toys! The moment you start moving a toy or a cat wand, he becomes completely focused and playtime begins! Even if someone pets him while he’s playing, he doesn’t seem to mind at all—he’ll happily keep going. Nothing comes between Castella and his toys! He also enjoys having his fluffy coat gently stroked. He’ll quite happily sit in place and give you a happy and content expression. We don’t think it will take too long for Castella to build a close bond with a family, once you begin sharing your home together. He has a lovely balance of playfulness and affection, and we’re looking for a family who will provide him with plenty of opportunities to play, cuddle, and simply enjoy being with family. We’re hoping this sweet boy meets a wonderful family who he can give him all the affection he deserves!
