​Shigure is a big, fluffy boy with a soft coat that’s just as comforting as his gentle personality. Although Shigure is visually impaired, he doesn’t let it stop him from enjoying life. He moves at his own easygoing pace, using his keen sense of smell to explore his surroundings and find his way to some inviting laps to claim. Even though he had only just arrived at ARK, Shigure quickly showed us his affectionate side. While being cared for, he’ll happily climb onto your lap, purring contentedly as he soaks up all the love and attention. Shigure also has a playful and adventurous side. He loves exploring his room and isn’t shy about introducing himself to the other cats. Watching him, it’s easy to forget that he can’t see—his confidence, curiosity, and resilience shines through in everything he does. We hope this brave, loving boy finds a wonderful family who will cherish him for the incredible cat he is and give him the forever home he deserves.​ He truly is very special.
