Happiness is Family: A Picture Exhibit of Dogs and Cats Who Have Found Happiness

A Notice from All Life in a Viable Environment (ALIVE) Kyoto!

On May 5 we will be holding a photo exhibit entitled “Happiness is Family: A Picture Exhibit of Dogs and Cats Who Have Found Happiness”. The pictures and stories will features animals who have not been purchased but have been adopted from public health centers, animal rescue organizations or animal rescue volunteers. We hope to cast an eye on the current pet boom and to pass on the message that there are other ways to get pets than just buying them at a pet shop.

ALIVE Kyoto is currently collecting pictures for the exhibit.
Entries are limited to people living in the Kyoto area, but ARK adoptive families and any families who have adopted animals from non-ARK animal rescue organizations/volunteers or public health centers are welcome to submit a picture. Why not submit a picture and story of your dog or cat?
The pictures can also be of rabbits or other animals.
