Noto Peninsula - reaching out to animals in need【5】

Six months have passed since the tragic earthquake on the Noto Peninsula. Many displaced residents are now struggling with the heat in their temporary housing.

ARK took in 4 Noto cats in April to be looked after until their owners could have them back. We are delighted to announce that the cats were returned safely by ARK staff to their family on June 26!
The four cats’ family really loved and cared for them and so were delighted to have them back after their two month stay in Nose, Osaka. We had thought they might be with us longer term, so were really pleased that we could reunite them with their family so soon. When the date for moving was set, the family contacted us immediately and said they “could hardly wait to live with the kids again”.
The four cats are each endowed with a very distinct personality – each one is adorable in his/her own right. Staff and volunteers alike really enjoyed their company. We know they’ll be very happy in their new home with their true family and wish them the best.
ARK thanks everyone for supporting us in our efforts to help Noto animals and their families.
