Zakuro, means Pomegranate in Japanese, and we think this is the perfect name for this sweetie. ​He is merry, eager to please and extremely fond of people. When someone enters his kennel, Zakuro gets so excited that he jumps up to greet and ask to play! He is naturally very play-oriented and is always up for a good time. He is a very affectionate and loves to be around people, so when people leave him, he will sometimes calling out after them! He is a very cooperative boy at the vets as well! Zakuro, ever the gourmet, can be a little fussy with his food and doesn’t always feel like eating everything. He also has a stubborn side when it comes to walks. If you try to lead him in one direction that doesn’t appeal to him, he will sometimes stubbornly resist and make it very clear that he has other ideas. Training is on going but there have been improvements! We’re looking for a loving family where this affectionate boy can enjoy all the attention and cuddles he deserves.
