When Xing-fu was found outside a Chinese restaurant with his mother and five siblings, he was nervous of people and tried to avoid them. It took him a while to realise that they can be trusted and liked. The adoptive parents who lavished him with kindness had to give him up and he is back in foster care, but is now a confident, happy cat who loves being brushed and stroked.
