If you’re looking for a calm and sweet dog, than Mulberry may be the dog for you. She has a timid personality and is rather skiddish, but that is to be expected with her background. She was brought to ARK after having lived in the mountains with several other Shiba mixes like herself. She had little to no socialization with people and therefore, when she first came to ARK she was terrified of people. Now, if you enter her kennel, she may take a step back, yet her tail will wag as if to say “Ok, I’m a little nervous but I’m so happy to see you!” She is very docile and can potentially live in a house with another dog (depending on their personality). One thing Mulberry is particularly scared of is vet visits and she will need to be muzzled. We would love to give Mulberry her “happily ever after” she so deserves, so please come visit her at ARK.
