Looking at smiley Lychee here, you would never think she was living a tough life in the mountains, with barely any socialization with people. Luckily, life began to change when she was rescued by ARK. When Lychee first arrived to the shelter, she was terrified of her new surroundings and people. Whenever we tried to touch her, she would run away and cower. Now, she is full of smiles and whenever people visit her kennel, she will come over to say hello. She seems to enjoy going on walks and is also very calm at the vets office. It may take a while for Lychee to get used to new surroundings and experiences, but we know with time, patience, and a sense of security, she will come around. We hope a kind, patient and understanding family will swoop her up and take her home very soon.
