Hawthorn is a regal looking gentle-dog, who grew up in the mountains running free. Due to a lack of socialization with people, he is very timid around people and sometimes works himself into a frenzy. That being said, we are working on socializing him and building up his confidence and so far, there has been some improvement. Hawthorn now enjoys his walks and will trot along merrily. He is also a very good boy at the vets and will sit patiently during a check up. He absolutely loves his food and we are able to use some yummy treats for his training, which he enjoys. We hope Hawthorne will encounter a kind and patient family who will help bring him out of his shell. He is a very sweet boy.
