Donguri means ‘acorn’ in Japanese and this is a very fitting name for an Autumn arrival at ARK! Donguri, the Shiba Inu, is a handsome boy with an endearing face and a sweet personality. Unlike the sometimes-temperamental nature often associated with the Shiba Inu, Donguri, is friendly and welcoming, even when meeting someone for the first time. You may expect him to be a little aloof, but he’s actually a huge fan of being petted! When you give his neck or lower back a rub, he’ll happily lean his body against you to ask for more. cuddles. Donguri doesn’t seem to be a big fan of other dogs, but there is one special exception—Hazel, the dog he came from the same home with. These two are very close and clearly adore each other. For that reason, we hope these two sweet friends can find a loving home together. After all, whats better than rescuing a dog? Rescuing two!
