If there ‘s one thing this gentle giant likes, it’s people – old ones, young ones, any kind at all. Stroke her and she’s your friend. Talk to her and she’s your soulmate. Perhaps because she didn’t get much attention in her previous home, Abbey is just desperate to be loved! Unfortunately, she wasn’t really ever taught how to get on with other dogs, so she sometimes breaks the rules, but she’s learning quickly! She’s still learning not to nip at people’s hands and pull on the lead, too, but she’s getting there. At 37 kilos, Abbey is carrying a little more weight than she needs to, but with all the exercise she gets at her foster home, we will soon be seeing a new, trim, Abbey. Abbey loves her foster family and all their friends. She loves the long walks they take her on, too. We’re hoping to find her a forever home where she can be the wonderful companion she wants to be – always at her family’s side. Please come and see her soon!
