FUNDRAISING BARBECUE PARTY
with Oscar and the World Woof Tour

*** Unfortunately, Oscar was not able to enter Japan without a 180-day quarantine period, so the World Woof Tour will not make it to the barbecue in July. However, the barbecue is going ahead in Oscar’s honour!

World Woof Tour ( www.worldwooftour.com) is all about promoting adoption of homeless dogs. Oscar the tour’s mascot will set off from South Africa and travel through 30 countries visiting 60 shelters to spread the message that many special homeless dogs are waiting for a happy home. After travelling through Africa, Europe and across Asia, he will visit Japan and ARK. To welcome him and his team, we are planning to hold a barbecue party at our new land in Sasayama. Please try to come.

Date: Sunday 26th July 2009

Place: Shitsugawa, Sasayama. ( off route 37 Sanda-Sasayama, we can send
a map for directions).

Time and schedule:
Ground opens at 1pm, tour around site followed by welcome
ceremony. Barbecue ( all you can eat and drink) from 2.30 pm.

Party fee: 4000 yen per person (part of which is a donation to the new facility)
and 2,500 yen for a primary school child. Dogs free, preschool children free.

We want to welcome as many dogs as possible. There is a dog play area where dogs can run around freely, a cool river for a paddle and lots of shady trees for everyone to chill out. Please apply by fax, email or post as early as possible to avoid disappointment as we may have to limit numbers. If you have picnic tables and chairs, please bring them along.
