Hi there, I’m Sachi. The staff here gave me that beautiful name because it means good fortune, which is just what they want for me! But for whatever reason, they all call me Sachiko!

I was rescued. They found me wandering around and I got to come to ARK! That was good fortune for sure!

When I got to ARK, they did some medical tests and found that I have diabetes. I have to take medicine every day and have regular medical checks, but I eating well and safe, so no complaints from me!

I have to eat special food and NO treats, but the food is just great!! I’m happy with it! I’m quite slender, so I can have as much as I like.

When I first got here, my skin wasn’t in great condition at all and my ears and tummy were black as soot.  I looked like a really old dog. I need regular shampoos to stay looking as good as I do now, but I’m a super good girl in the bath.

Even if I can’t eat treats, being with people is a treat in itself, because I simply love them♡
I also LOVE sleeping! But I promise I’ll get up straight away if you come to my room.

I really missed being around people when I was wandering.
