I was rescued from a person who wasn’t really keen on taking care of me that well, so I came to ARK with a fear of people. Which is unfortunate because I am now starting to really see that not everyone is scary and learning to take walks besides people I know. Progress is slow but steady. I am not great with a change in environment so someone who is willing to take the time to get to know me would be an ideal match. The staff at ARK gave me a great new nickname – Hyotan. I like it a lot.
