Jimena is a gorgeous gal who was rescued as a struggling stray. For this reason, it comes as no surprise, she can be a little apprehensive around new people. When she first arrived, any sudden movements or noises would send her into a frenzy and she would hide wherever she could. Now, Jimena is gaining more confidence and will come out to greet visitors when they come to her cat room. She gets along with her kitty roommates well too! On top of that, she has even started eating her food in front of us- which never would have happened when she first arrived! This improvement has come very gradually, but we feel that with the right environment and a very patient and understanding family, Jimena will blossom into the friendly, beautiful, healthy and happy cat she truly is.
