Godiva is a gentle and friendly boy with the sweetest heart. He absolutely adores people — the moment you sit down near him, he’ll try his very best to climb right into your lap. He’s incredibly affectionate, and once he settles on your lap, he has no intention of leaving! Even if you gently put him down, he’ll repeatedly keep trying to climb back up. Watching him determinedly wiggle his way back into your arms is so adorable, you can’t help but scoop him up again! Godiva is also a great eater and happily finishes all his meals — he’s a little foodie at heart! While he loves humans more than anything, Godiva doesn’t seem particularly comfortable around other dogs. When they approach him, he’s more likely to move away than engage, so he may be happiest as the only dog in the home. Godiva tends to bark if left alone for too long so for this reason, he would do best in a home where someone is around most of the day and can give him the attention and reassurance he needs.
