Contessa means “countess” in Italian and we think it’s a very fitting name for this lovely lady. Contessa is not only beautiful and sophisticated but also confident and kind. She is very fond of visitors and will immediately come over to say hello. Perhaps the only time she forgets she is an aristocrat, is when she’ll drink a heap of water, then proceed to lick your hands (for no apparent reason) and drench your clothes! We very much forgive her though, as who can say no to that beaming smile! Contessa also loves going on walks and has a very good appetite. She is generally ok with most dogs, but we find that she prefers the company of people rather than her fellow canines. Contessa would make a wonderful family dog, and we hope she finds her happily ever after this year!
