​Basilio is a handsome boy who has really come out of his shell since arriving at ARK. He has a naturally shy nature, but with time, patience and encouragement, he will slowly feel safe enough to trust you. In fact, he is incredibly sweet and once he knows you, he will rub his face along your legs to ask for cuddles! With the stressful past he had, it is understandable that it takes Basilio a little extra time to open up. Basilio gets along with his roomie Faust and most other dogs (depending on how personalities match), so he may do well with another canine friend around. We are keeping our fingers crossed this sweet boy finds his forever home soon. Fun fact: Basilio is an Italian name that means “kingly” or “royal”.
